Second Unit Webinars
In fall 2021, the County of San Mateo, in partnership with cities across San Mateo County, held a series of informational webinars for homeowners interested in building a second unit. In each webinar, staff from the County’s second unit resource center provided 30 minutes of introductory information and resources. After that, homeowners were invited to join city planners for breakout sessions to learn more about second unit rules in each community.
